Introducing . . . The KiltWalk Tartan

What can we say about Tartan?

Well it's instantly recognisable the world over as a very "Scottish" thing and it's something we Scots are extremely proud of and so we should be.

It comes in all mixtures colours, clans and districts and regardless of what your flavour is, it's always worn with pride by men, women and children and can be found in kilts, scarves, shoes, tights, car rugs, trousers, skirts, teddies, pyjamas, hats, socks, shirts . . . in fact the list is endless.

So we thought "wouldn't it just be the bees knees if The KiltWalk had their own Tartan. A tartan that would, in time, become instantly recognisable as The KiltWalk Tartan" and so the decision was made to commission our very own 'KiltWalk' Tartan and we hope you agree that it's quite simply, stunning.

All of which comes as (a) a huge relief to The KiltWalk team, and (b) an even bigger relief to Carey who was tasked with delivering the end result.

Our lad Carey has been through this before, so he was ideally suited to work on "The KiltWalk Tartan Project" and when we kept asking him what it was like he would say things like, "well it's modern, yet distinguished and will appeal to both male and female and in fact it's very metrosexual!!" so basically, we were "none the wiser" but realised Carey had been spending too long with 'designers'.

We are however delighted to say that everyone involved in the project has come up trumps as it's "pure dead brilliant" which is something most people will resonate with on here.

We're hoping to have the first batch of material and products off the production line very soon and they will be sold exclusively through thekiltwalk webpage.

The standard price for the full bhoona kilt will be £359, however we'll also have a 5 yard version, price to be finalised along with a ladies kilts and lambs wool scarves.

It's obviously going to be available for everyone and anyone to purchase, however for those of you doing The KiltWalk then if you manage to raise £500 then you'll be rewarded with 50% off voucher.
