Squirrels, squirrels everywhere!
Went to Dunfermline today with a couple of international friends from the wee world cafe. Last semester at the cafe we had looked at who Queen Margaret (our Uni's namesake) was, and her links with Dunfermline, so thought we'd go and have a look around!
It was a lovely day/afternoon appreciating a place with some really interesting buildings and history! After we had a look around at the abbey and Carnegie museum and had some lunch in the oldest building in Dunfermline (supposedly!) we walked through Pittencrief park (The Glen), it was really quite beautiful considering it's the middle of Dunfermline!
These cheeky wee things were EVERYWHERE, there were probably about 10 around you at any one time, and although I know they're vermin and a threat to our (slightly more native) reds, they're still really quite cute!
