Newbattle

Had a fantastically interesting walk and enjoyable around Newbattle Abbey and Lord Ancrum's wood, along with a mooch around a fantastic graveyard round those parts (one of the best table graves I've ever seen).

Also, brunch in Toast and harvesting of the first sprouting broccoli which is so sweet I more or less ate all I picked.

So a good Saturday so far.

However, today's picture comes from a bit of close-up fun this morning with the daffodils. A few other very close-up flower pictures too, but I worried about them being too rude for Blip. I needed to introduce a bit of colour after looking back at the week....
