She's alive.

I'd already ordered a new chain (it's current one was stupidly mucky and needed constant attention to stop from seizing) when my bike decided I had to invest in a new back wheel cassette and freewheel mechanism.

The wheel was easily sorted by the top bods at Soul Cycles earlier in the week but I'd never changed a chain before.

Luckily, I know a man who has previous experience and high propensity to bike tinker. So this morning was toddling off to get a lesson in bike chain and jockey wheel changing.

All very interesting and I'm all set for next week. Thanks Jeepo.
