a curlew or two

Tottered down the shore, and managed to find a load of these birds - very disappointed to find the collective noun is a herd of curlew. Should be something more exotic I feel - a nosegay of curlew perhaps.

Anyway I chose this one because of the other lurking birds and I liked the sea/rocks as well as the curlew. It is slightly cropped so might not look so good large.

There was another curlew snoozing just off to the right, and as I was walking back, I saw another 3 snoozing.
