The end of an era

This is Richborough Power Station in East Kent, opened in the 1960s and redundant for about 20 years, these iconic chimneys are being demolished next week. They have been a local landmark throughout my childhood and a marker to show how near to home I am when I see them through the train window. I always wanted to be the one to press the detonation button when the time came, but guess it's not going to happen!
