Boxing clever

Perfect day at Harlow Carr. Morning workshops on sustainability, held in the garden's learning centre, one of the most eco-friendly buildings in the country. Loved the recycled plastic loo doors, recycled glass flooring, green roof, light tubes, electricity supplied by wind turbine, I could go on!
After lunch we were let loose in the gardens which are just coming into their spring finery. Crocus, dog wood, witch hazel, etc. The children loved the log maze and the log monster and we also go them sketching the many sculptures in the garden, like this one. Fabulous day.
