Snowboard Lesson #2

This is the view from the gondola as I headed down Grouse Mountain. Directly below is North Vancouver, then the water which separates the north shore from downtown attached is the tip of Stanley Park just visible on the left. In the distance are a fleet of tankers sitting in English Bay and views south.

My second snowboard lesson, I was turning and trying to control my speed going down the slope on my heel edge. A couple of friends came up with us and by the end of the day we were able to fall off the lifts and made it down our first proper run. It's the one we can see from our apartment. If I hadn't been concentrating so hard on staying up right I might have taken in the view a little more!
