Some of you may remember these guys from last summer. When I was down to just a few and it was starting to chill I brought the farm into the house. After a few days we had a break out and several vanished. I thought maybe the cats had got them as they didn't appear anywhere. Well it seems that at least one crawled under the fridge and stayed there all winter. I found this fellow crawling out from under the fridge this morning with wings still wet. I carried it up onto the window sill to dry out and we released it this afternoon. So pleased that I could show the children the complete cycle. We still have some chrysillis on the sill although not sure wether they have survived or not, will have to wait and see over the next few weeks.
