Friday nights is cricket night.

We are preparing for 'Last Man Stands', an informal faster version of 20/20. * man teams, strange rules and a hard ball.

I discovered I could still propel 5 and a half ounces of leather bound cork from one wicket to another. I could even hit the stumps!

Unfortunately, Gary was very good even though he has a bad shoulder and Ric's not bad either.

A cricket ball, well smacked, is still jolly hard to catch though!
