Isn't it always the way, you scrape together 5 minutes of 'me time' before the sunshine leaves the garden, you distract the children with a particularly interesting episode of Numberjacks but..... you can only take 3 pictures before the battery goes on the camera. Boo hiss.

I really should replace my lost spare battery. It's only been lost for about 3 years.

Better things things today included going to a toddler group with another Mum from school, I think it might be the first toddler group experience I've had that wasn't totally miserable :-) Yay. Of course I only had 1 child in tow and I actually had someone to talk to* both of which, it seems, are good things.

And then swimming this afternoon, which was fairly uneventful.

But most importantly, we have a night off tomorrow, so I'm off to plan fun places to go and things to do :-)

*in between persuading wailing no.2 son that he didn't want to go in a baby walker or baby jumperoo thing, or a fire engine that another child was already in.
