Rainbow Web
When I looked out in the window this morning, the world had disappeared. A heavy, damp mist lay all around. So I was forced to wander out before work and take some drippy shots and some soggy spider's webs. Mr Lif was quite bemused. I did wonder if any of them would be in focus ;) it being so early and all!
As I headed off to work in the car the sun came up and the sky was bright and clear with hazy, smokey mist lingering in the fields, lit perfectly by the sunlight. Shame i was in the car.
Anyway, a little spot of excitement in the day. I wandered off into town to get some Clearasil for young Jake, the portrait earlier this week, on close inspection highlighted a potential eruption of teenage blackheads around the nose essentials. As I came back into the office, boss lady was in the reception area and walked sheepishly towards me. I wondered what was up. She raised one brow and told me we had a "situation". A man had rushed in off the street, crouched down by the photocopier and informed Kasia, the receptionist that there were men out side who were after him. The men apparently were snipers and were out to get him. Boss lady told me that he had asked Kasia to phone the police and that they were on the way. I could tell by boss lady's face that there was no situation and she was slightly bemused. We simply had another slightly whacky Dundonian in our midst.
I informed boss lady that I was glad I had come back early and unscathed and headed off to the "relative" safety of the staff room :~)
Needless to say, the incident ended without further ado. The man was escorted off the premises by the police. I am sure he was well kent. The snipers must have got wind of the arrival of the police as they were nowhere to be seen......or perhaps they were never there at all?? :)
A wee spiders web from this morning with a spot of fiddling. Have a fine Friday x
