Seashells on the sea shore

Was feeling a little worse for wear after yesterday, had a practical but the day got a bit better after a trip down to portobello to pick up Gill's car. Found this little shell on the beach. Also tried to take pictures of these crazy dogs running around but they all turned out a little blurry.. lighting was pretty low.. not really sure how to remedy this, any suggestions?
