New swimming

We've had a lovely day today. We spent a few hours pottering at home (I say a few hours, as she started her day at just after 5) before we went to gymnastics. She was really excited to be back, it's been a few weeks because of the move and half term. She was rather taken with a bit of the circuit that was stepping through hoops and did that a lot. She then really enjoyed an activity using a rope ladder: it on its side, crawling through it, forwards and backwards; stepping through it with it flat and raised from the ground. She then ran round the gym in circles briefly, before being very excited to do the stretches. It was a new dance today and she actually coped fairly well with it!

She'd asked first thing to go swimming, so I'd packed the swimming bag. She had a sandwich and then we went to the pool. She was sent a new swimming costume recently, but it's taken a few weeks to convince her that its swimmers for her, rather than jammies for doggy. She likes it a lot! She had so much fun swimming, doing loads of jumping off the side and swimming away. She spent quite a while chasing balls on her woggle and waved lots to her teacher.

We popped to tesco and she fell asleep in my arms in the shop. Made shopping quite a challenge. We popped in to see Ava very briefly before coming home. Granny and Grandad have popped in for a play and some tea, to nicely finish off a muchneeded relaxing day together.
