Into the mist

Hanging around the churchyard again... and was taken with the sight of these gravestones under the huge yew tree and leding the eye to the gate and the white mist beyond.

The yew tree "pre-dates the birth of Christ", according to the sign nailed to it, which is quite an amazing age for a tree when you think about it. This means it also pre-dates the church and every other building in the area, and all the people buried beneath it. Makes you think....
