Shaun Cole was a strong, fit member of the armed forces in the first Gulf War, but now isn't capable of climbing a flight of stairs.

Gulf War Syndrome (or Gulf War Illness) isn't fully understood. Some completely discredit it. Shaun feels left out in the cold, not receiving the help or support he clearly needs.

He's not alone, there are thousands of Gulf veterans in his position, and he wants to raise awareness of the condition. I wished him luck, he was a geniune guy.
