Notes from a bald-eagle

Finding food

What a beautiful day it was. The sunshine was almost warm. Unfortuantely I spent most of it indside; although the morning's meeting was very productive and we finally have a conference venue we can afford!
In my brief sojourn into the countryside I came across this female blackbird foraging along the base of a hedge. She was well aware of me, but was clearly determined to carry on regardless; obviously building up reserves for egg production and possibly recognising that I wasn't much of a threat.
