Field of Flowers

I went to a sawmill down south to get a load of off-cuts for kindling and saw this grand sight on my way. It was close to a farm gateway in a small community that lost much in the September 2010 earthquake.

I don't know which mountain this is. They are a different shape down there.

Edit: The mountain of centre left is Mount Hutt, with the skifield on top. Thanks to Pixel Smiths and hpx for the ID.
