The Tail End of a Good Day

I drove down to my home town to take my mother out to lunch for her birthday today. Somehow all of the women in my family are born in March...I wonder if there is some connection there...Anyhow, we had a good simple day, which is the kind she enjoys the most. Just the two of us. Walked her dog by the bay, grabbed a hot dog and enjoyed the awesome weather we are having. Typical for me, we took zero pictures, which in hindsight would have been helpful for starting on this site tonight. Having a beer now. Good thing I got a photo of that for posterity. I will see what comes up tomorrow.
