In like a Lamb

A Day of Firsts: First of March: Today's been great! The temperature was well into double figures, the sun shone, I saw my first butterfly of the year. We went for a walk in one of Sheffield's loveliest parks, and out into the Limb Valley. The bluebell shoots were just appearing and the trees were full of birdsong. Earlier, at home, the frogs which have been in our pond for a while let me approach for the first time to get a photo.
In case you don't know the phrase, March is said to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb. Let's just hope the other part of this saying doesn't apply in reverse!
