Goose Performing Ablutions

It was such a good surprise to see the sun and blue skies this morning. I moved the geese to a new patch of land . Their old run had become too muddy. They seemed very happy about the new arrangement. This old goose spent the entire morning tossing water up over her head so I had to refill the tub for her. They haven't access to a pond but seemed ok with this improvised watering system.

Weeding , digging and planting filled most of my day until dinner needed cooking and students needed teaching...

Finn the builder put the floor in the loft of the newly re-roofed long shed. It will be good to have somewhere to put the straw at long last
