Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant 2012 / Saint David's Day 2012

Today was St. David's Day when we celebrate the life of the patron saint of Wales. Cardiff held the tenth annual St. David's Day parade led of course by St. David himself.

One quotation of St. David's that caught my imagination was "Gwnewch y pethau bychain mewn bywyd" - "Do the little things in life" which emphasises that the little things - like small acts of kindness - are as important, if not more important than bigger aspirations that aren't fulfilled.

This was the first year that Nor'dzin was invited in her rôle as chair of the Buddhist Council of Wales. It was a joyous occasion and felt like a holiday - perhaps one day it will be a national holiday.
