It's such a perfect day

I'm glad I spent it with Dad!

The winter sunshine had me aching to get out of the house. I rang Dad and he was free, so off we went to Lyme Park. Well, not exactly directly, as I thought I'd try a different route, but got lost.

The day was so beautiful, we tramped about the countryside and chatted. We stopped to watch the deer munching away in their enclosure, then got a light lunch ourselves. Butter bean and basil soup - not heard of that one before, but it was lovely.
