let the digging begin

After what feels like forever work started on the extension yesterday, apologies to Goretex and the rest of the neighbours for the 0700 hrs start :-o The garden is now a big mucky hole but it's great to get started and the builder is a gem and an old friend. The garden centre is also a building site and karenski thought she'd lend a hand as we left. I suspect they'll be finished long before us!
