Genotyping.
Had my first lab meeting today at uni for the Piertney lab. I am now officially integrated into the lab group as Stu termed me "the new kid on the block". After hearing a wee talking from one of the PhD students, discussion of a paper and general housekeeping chat Stu gave me all the data I need for genotyping my grenadier fish as the start of my masters project.
Left hand side is all 96 gels for the individuals being genotyped. The middle panel is the gel displaying in blue (also must be done for red, green and yellow..) with the spikes on the graphs indicating potential alleles. And the right hand side is the recorded allele lengths in bases.
74 down. 311 to go..
