Leith

Leith lies to the North of Edinburgh. In years gone by it was a seperate town but now it is connected to Edinburgh and has become a disdrict of the City.
Leith lies on the Firth of Forth it is a port and has docks you can see some of the cranes at the docks.
The island in the Forth is Inchkeith it is almost uninhabited. I think there are some nature wardens there. During WW2 there were gun emplacements manned on Inchkeith to protect the docks and the Forth from naval attack.
