Fifeshire Rock

There are 2 ways for me to drive or from town - over the Bishopdale hill, which is shorter and quicker, or round the waterfront, which is more scenic and calming.

On a trip out to the Boulder Bank on the other side of town I copped a speeding ticket going through some roadworks :(

I'd slowed down because I'd seen the roadworks but not enough to avoid being waved down - I just didn't see the speed sign! The cop was waiting at the far end of the roadworks and seemed far too smug with his capture.

I on the other hand, still needed some calming influence on my drive home so drove back home round the waterfront........

This scene is rather calming - it's just a bummer it won't pay the fine!
