Taking shape!

Our church has seen quite a bit of growth over the last several years. A few years back we went from two morning services to three, to try to accommodate more people, and finally the decision was made to take a leap of faith and build a new sanctuary. The mild winter has enabled them to stay more or less on target and yesterday the first of these structural steel beams was hoisted into place, and today , when I was back at church for knitting ministry, you could really see things taking shape. After church I went swimming at the "Y". It was fairly quiet in the pool today - being a beautiful sunny day I guess many people were outside walking or jogging or playing golf! Then I had a few errands to run before heading home. In the evening we met Laura at Olive Garden for a pre-birthday dinner- its her birthday on Friday, but we shall be on a plane bound for Florida then, and we both had other commitments Wednesday and Thursday.
