Day TwentyNine - Black and White

The weather today has been beautiful, more like mid-summer than early spring, so when I went to visit Alan we decided to go for a drive up to Merthyr.

As we drove along the top of the valley Alan told me about the colliery and the history of the area... It was genuinely fascinating and a great way to see some of the gorgeous Welsh countryside.

Alan is really camera-shy, so I was very happy to get a picture of him for today's blip.
