Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh

These pillars are at the front of the Royal Scottish academy (RSA), the home of contemporary art in Edinburgh.
The magnificent building on the Mound was designed by William Henry Playfair.

We went there today to see an exhibition by the Society of Scottish Artists.
