Agiversary

Today was the 1st proper anniversary of my mums death, she died on 29th February 2008 and obviously, today was the 1st 29th feb since! We marked the day by doing a balloon release and friends of mine joined in all over the world by releasing balloons too! There were releases in Australia, America, Hungary, Switzerland, England and Scotland! Couldn't believe all the pictures I saw of the balloons, completely blew me away.
It was beautiful, a sea of pink balloons, the day my mum died there was a sunrise of a pink sky and I knew that day she would go to heaven, I vowed to mark this day by doing something lovely every 4 years.
I also made hungarian goulash, cucumber salad and Hungarian plum dumplings, all my favourites that my mum used to cook!
My mother in law also chose this evening to give me her diamond ring, I am blown away by this and very touched, especially as she chose today to do so. Stunning.
I received flowers from my bestie! Also some beautiful cards and a lovely heart from my neighbour.
