A little bit of beauty.

Given that I spend enough time in the hospital, I resent arriving half an hour early after getting a bus from the train station.

So this morning I decided to walk to the hospital, and found a footpath that seemed to head in the general direction of the hospital (it's pretty easy to spot!!)

It wasn't very far at all but I could take my time and enjoy the fresh air, the area isn't exactly very pretty, but there's a lake/pond with plenty of birds, so stopped and watched a pair of herons swooping about for a while.

It was nice to get a bit of peace and quiet before my busy day!
