'Ear 'Ear

I was pleased to see a fresh growth of fungi today, I didn't bother looking when the weather was very cold.

There were loads of this type, Auricularia-judae common name Judas Ear or Jews ear but now more usually 'Jelly Ear'.

They are covered in a downy hair which has been picked up by the flash, when I have previously photographed them I have never noticed this feature as they have been damp.
