New kid on the block!
I took a few potential 'blip' pictures today but this last one - I just couldn't resist. Had a late afternoon walk round the fields and as I passed through the farmyard decided to look into the 2 small stables with upper doors open. There I found this little chap, I think he's a Belgian Blue calf. There was no sign of his mum and he looked rather lethargic. I will find out more when I see the farmer.
Spent the morning in 'the shop' and went on to meet a friend for lunch, lovely. The temperatures aren't as warm as yesterday but it is still a pretty good day.
News on the amaryllis, one flower is fully opened, just waiting for the others and then they will be blipped!
Off to the village hall tonight for a committee meeting. Just re-joined after being away for a year or two. Anyone living in a village knows that such committees struggle to attract members so I'm back! I've no doubt by the time I get home I will be ready for a large sherry and a lie down in a darkened room! Enough said.
