Snow melting in the sun

Today is a beautiful day. The sun is shining, and it is relatively warm, but rather windy. When I got home from work I should have gone for a walk, but I was tired and became a couch potato instead. After a while though, I began thinking that I had to get my ass moving, fetched my camera and went outside. I didn't get very far, as this picture is taken in my garden, but I plan to take a walk soon.

In Iceland we have this beautiful word "sólbráð" which describes the snow when the sun has been shining. The top of the snow melts a little and those snow crystals sparkle in the sun.
