Nanak

The best thing about teaching is the learning. Last week I had the pleasure of working with Grade 4 who educated me in Sikhism (their current area of study). We decided to make papier mache portraits of Guru Nanak which sadly we weren't able to finish in the allotted time. We meet again tomorrow and in preparation today I started an example of the painting techniques we shall explore. With Mr and Mrs Andrews looking on, John Berger as a support, and a pinhole as a witness it was an ideal way to finish a Wednesday.

Alone let him constantly meditate in solitude on that which is salutary for his soul, for he who meditates in solitude attains supreme bliss.
