Carvers, the biggest builders suppliers in Wolverhampton, is currently consumed by fire. The smoke is acrid and billows around Lady Wilfruna, in front of St Peter's Church.

Poor woman has seen a lot in her time but hopefully this is not the demise of the firm in an already ravaged employment black spot.
