Life on the Good Intent

Light in the Dark

There was no time to take any pictures till I was leaving work - colleagues ill or on holiday. The nature of our work means that it is unpredictable - people can't choose when they fall ill or when they get appointments to see a doctor, so we have to be flexible.
This May tree was blooming when I started my job here nine years ago and its delicate white flowers on the leafless branches are a welcome sign of spring. These blossoms are a reminder of the fragility of our lives and how they can be turned upside down in an instant.
So I'm back blipping this on Wednesday morning ready for another day knowing I did my best yesterday and will strive to do so again today!

Happy Birthday to all who are leap year babies!
