Playing in mud

These Blackrock College students spent the day digging a fish pond in the remote village of Kasango, Mzuzu Malawi.
The location was wet and mucky as it needs to be; extremely hard work, but it looks like they had fun as well.
We have a big drive on fish ponds at the moment, as they provide much needed protein for people with the worst of carbohydrate diets in these remote areas. They can also provide an excellent source of income.
The ideal locatons are dambo swamps, where small boys can have a ball!!!!
