Feather Friends

A Lory chillin' out on a swinging rope, enjoying the sun and cool breeze. These birds love nectar and will happily warm to anyone in possession of it, but be warned "They come with fire, they come with axes! Gnawing. Biting. Breaking. Hacking. Burning." Other than that, they're quite friendly and chirpy. The Lories are kept in a huge bird cage with a path leading through it, for people to feed and interact with them. This photo was taken on my 40mm F2.8, I'm falling in love with this lens, not nearly as much as my Tokina 11-16mm though.
