Tip-Toe Through the Tulips

I don't really like taking pictures of flowers, partially because mine never really work. Today however, has been an exception. Mum has a vase of these pink tulips on the cupboard in the hallway sitting just below one of the lights. I only took one shot and it came out beautifully. The brilliant focus on the near flower showing all the grain and the tiny dark spots at the tips of the petals and the soft focus on the flowers behind. Very very happy.
