Bolt no nut
An odd day. I went for a walk along the Kennet & Avon Canal and was very uninspired, dull grey sky, no wildlife and nothing obviously interesting. I was not expecting much.
I took a picture of an anchor on the grass. The owner asked why and I explained about blip. We had a very interesting talk about her anchor (it was out while the boat had a service), the boat (over 100 years old) and how long she had lived on the boat (3.5 years). So at I thought at least I had an interesting(ish) story about a dull photo; well it was a boring modern anchor laid on the grass.
On my way back I noticed the moss growing round the bolts that were holding the moorings in place. I took a few and on reviewing decided I liked this one better than the boring anchor. I love the bleached wood, the two-tone moss, the little white feather and the dried grass seeds. I even like the position of the little insect.
So there you have it a story about a blip I did not include and even a bit about the one I did.
Apparently Kate Bush lives in the house on the opposite bank, I wonder if she would mind being blipped.
I think I need a therapist.
