Liberty

Well, I had this really long blip entry written here, and when I clicked "preview", it all went away.
Now I am really angry about that and not in the mood to type it all again.

Here is the immediate runner-up for today. I had a hard time deciding.

Bottom line is - NYC today was great, I saw Lady Liberty (obviously), also enjoyed the view from Empire State.

But - SKIP THOSE STUPID WATERFALLS! I really enjoyed the boat tour, the purpose of which was to see the artifical artsy fartsy "waterfalls", however, the waterfalls were the least memorable of the trip.
They are ridiculous, ugly, energy wasting exhibits.

If you want to take the tour to see a bit of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, then this is a great way to do it. But don't expect too much of the waterfalls...
