Male Chaffinch

So I am slowly (too slowly!) getting better. Still a very nasty cough and the nose will not stop dripping. But I'm not ill anymore. In fact, I've done quite a bit of work in the garden this week, whoopiee!

Hubby built me a new bird table. Our old one served us well for over 9 years, but it finally fell over and bit the dust (or should I say mud...).
So! A new one was put up, a lot nearer my conservatory window. The birds have found it and they are so used to me sitting in the window, they don't mind me anymore. This means I can now get some really nice pics, YAY!

Now... I can't promise to blip every day, as there really is such an enormous load of work to be done in the garden, it's not funny! I'm simply too busy. Now that we have the Nursery, I really feel the pressure to have the garden *spot on*... Shame, really. It's more *work* than *fun* now. But! It does feel really good and rewarding to be out there and nice things up after all that hibernating! :)
