Mr Grumpy Goes Home.....

I walked past my old school today. I don't want to sound like Mr Grumpy (again) but we used to have a rowing club that competed at Henley, I was a cox, a debating society that took part in national events and a fair sprinkling of pupils who went to good universities. I found some pictures on Friends Reunited and we look as if were in a minor public school.

Now over 50% of the students receive free school meals, it has a lower than average attandence level and one of the lowest university entrace rates in the country.

How did that happen?
