Male Pheasants

A busy day today, working as well as doing some studying. At lunch time I saw these two male pheasants roaming around the garden, looking for the females no doubt. The females, five or six of them were chased away earlier in the day by Florence who likes to think she is a match for them. These two are not a sharp as they might have been, they were over the other side of the garden, but I do not have time to go and look for something else. They were not taken with my new lens, which is still in its box, but with another one which lives permanently in the kitchen on D100.
