Sumner Surf
Thanks to all who have commented over the past few days, especially those who were interested on my rant with 'fracking'.
The day started off a bit cool.....summer is fading away too fast. Out at Sumner beach today -southerly swell, southerly wind and we had sea drama with bountiful waves crashing. Went past Shag rock which was sad to see as it is retrenching more and more to a pile of broken rocks and has lost it's shape and granduer that it once had. Today I decided that I would pick up a piece to add to the rock collection - was poignant as it crumbles like the rest of christchurch - not much left but a pile of rubble.
