Blast and Botheration.

Blast and Botheration, and similar somewhat less polite exclamations.

1 hour and 30 minutes in traffic to cover less than 30 miles. Unload dive kit onto jetty and set up. Mahandle boat from trailer and pull over to jetty. Attempt to start engine. No joy. 45minutes later, still no joy.

Unload kit from boat again. Mahandle boat back to trailer and winch back on. Strip down kit. Load kit back into car. Follow boat to storage shed and help manhandle it back into its parking spot.

All hot work, much carried out in a drysuit, and I didn't even get a blasted dive! All we had to show for our time at North Berwick was the tyre tracks we left on the beach.

Quite frustrated. Not been having much luck lately between binned dives, flooded cameras and defective kit it's now over 3 months since I took an underwater photo, my favourite form of photography.

Gah!
