Ealing again

Felt as though I should redress the balance after last month's less than flattering blip of Ealing's delights.

Spent the afternoon at the Town Hall for a meeting in one of those goldfish bowl style 'break out' rooms that only serve to distract if the meeting is anything less than enthralling.

This is the modern half of the Town Hall, the original just next door is a beautiful gothic Victorian confection which unfortunately is under scaffolding just now. The contrast between the two is quite striking and rather than clashing horribly, seems to enhance the qualities of both - I think anyhow.
