The road more travelled
The road home, in the grey, misty, smirry Argyll gloaming.
Technically its a shot taken looking back, away from home, just for the geographically pedantic! It certainly needed a black and white look. However, now I need to dry the camera.
This bit of the road can be tricky in winter. This bit does get gritted, but that's the problem. You turn a corner and find a dozen cattle licking the salt off the road. They are oblivious to lights and horns, so I carry an empty 2L plastic diet coke bottle for when I have to get out and, how can I say it, encourage them to move on, with a gentle tap on the rump! Not too hard mind, or they stop and give you a deposit!
And, thank you for the best wishes. The back is better. I now have a cold. Standing out on a cold windswept road in February wasn't the cleverest of moves.
